Real Food and Real People
The farmers market is a an ideal place to get to acquainted with some
wonderful people. Curious, caring and community-minded people can
be found picking up produce and talking about sustenance. Great
relationships start here, as people get intimate with their food in
their own neighborhood. Of course, you don't have to be from
midtown KC to enjoy the market. You can meet adventurous
individuals who seek out local events as they travel. The
act of shopping at the farmers' market is a basic and integral element
of survival in the city, just like getting to know and love those
around you.
